On Oct 20^th, 2020, Shanghai Senon was invited to the Dow Chemical Zhangjiagang resin project mechanical completion ceremony, and was awarded the "excellent contractor".

Dow Chemical is one of the world's leading chemical companies and a global leader in silicone, silicon-based technology and innovation. The annual production of 12,000 tons of silicone resin project of Dow silicone (Zhangjiagang) Co. , Ltd. ., located in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Free Trade Zone, was established in September 2018. The new plant, which is expected to start production at 2021, will significantly increase Dow's global capacity of high value silicone resins to meet the growing demand for specialty silicone products from related industries and emerging markets. High value-added silicone resin is a high-tech material, which is the key raw material for special silicone products. It is widely used in home and personal care, pressure sensitive adhesive, defoamer and secondary optics.

Shanghai Senon won an order for evaporators from Dow Chemical after several rounds of bidding with foreign manufacturers, 200t/d sodium chloride high salt wastewater MVR evaporation crystallization, drying and packaging system for Zhangjiagang resin project. The project includes design, procurement, manufacturing, installation and commissioning guidance, operation support and other services. The high-salt wastewater from the resin project was neutralized, flocculated and precipitated, and then the wastewater was put into the MVR evaporative crystallization system. After drying, the crystallized salt reached the second class standard of GB/T 5462-2015 for fine industrial dry salt, the evaporative condensed water was further treated by a continuous biochemical system.
